MYSELF :
My name is Haresh Pradhan. I belong to Orissa, India. My father,
Mr. Udayanath Pradhan is a former freedom
fighter
(Serial No.55 in the official website :
http://angul.nic.in/freedom.htm )
and my mother (Late) Mrs. Jamuna Devi
was a house maker.
Due to the lack of proper schools in my village, I went to my Mausi (Aunty)'s village (Handidhua, Talcher, Orissa) to get primary education. I got a scholarship (NRTS) at 7th grade for 4 years. So I shifted to Brajanath Badajena High School ( Famously known as B.B. High School). There, I stayed in Hostel maintaining a strict disciplined students-life. During my academic era in B. B. High School, I fortunate enough to meet many great people, who use to visit our hostel and share their knowledge with us. In school life, I participated actively in many out-door activities. Many times I have organized the relief fund-collections and distributions programs during cyclone and flood situations in Orissa. During 1982 flood, I along with my school mates, have collected funds even through polishing shoes, selling gol-gope (pani-puri) etc. During the flood period, the district collector had provided a jeep to our school to help in flood affected area.
I was a scout member of the school and joined many state and national-level camps. I could not join the International Scout Jamboree due to my Board exams in 1983. Of course I did not do so well in my board Exams; just secured First Division. After my Intermediate Science (I.Sc.), I did my Bachelor in Commerce (B.Com) from Angul College (1987). Then I joined a Charted Firm as an Article Clerk. During that time, I have visited many place and factories for Auditing.
In 1992, I moved to Cuttack to get coaching for ICWAI course. There I met Mr. Hrushikesh Swain, who was staying in next to my room. He was doing Computer Course from NIIT. We became good friends and he developed my intrest for computer. I was highly impressed and ultimately decided to do a computer course.
I borrowed some money from my brother and did a one-year diploma course in software from NIIT. By that time the computers were very costly. So I had to work for a company free of cost, just to get the opportunity to work at night on company's computer. My sincere regards to Mr. Millan Dash of Computer Lab, Cuttack, Odisha and Mr. Ramachandra Mishra of M/s Vidyapuri Publication, cuttack, Odisha for contributing their help to me in the filed of computer knowledge.
In 1995, I moved to Delhi and joined M/s Iqbal Chand Khurana (a lottery company), as a Deputy Manager- EDP. Using my innovative ideas, I developed the Automatic Challan System for the whole group of companies and installed it in the branch offices at Bidar, Andhra pradesh and Bangalore, Karnatak. The Automatic challan system simplified the complicated-challan process in Lottery business.
In June 1998, I joined The High Commission of the Republic of Namibia in finance. Initially everything I used to work mannually. I develop the Single Entry Accounting System for the Mission. It handles each and every activities of the Mission related to finance like budgeting, funds received, cheque print, petty cash, maintenance of expenses & review as per the vote etc. It was accepted and was running till year 2012 as per interaction with my former colleagues. There was no official website. In 2005-06, I took the initiatives and hosted the official website of the mission The High Commission of the Republic of Namibia. I love this Mission, because it has enriched my mind a lot. I will always remember it. I love Namibia and its people.... I will say "Long live Friendship of India and Namibia. In 31 December 2006, I resigned from Namibian High Commission to start my Cusultancy job.
I started the fulltime consultancy job in M/s Nippon Audiotronix from 01 Jan 2007. M/s Nippon Audiotronix Ltd is the Original equipment vendor of M/s Maruti Udyog Ltd.
